Great time in Orlando

Greetings from Orlando, Florida.

First let me take a moment to thank all our Veterans on this 11-11-11.

We came down to make use of the timeshare I bought on Ebay last year for $1.00 (thats what I said $1). We are at Orange Lake West, a really nice timeshare resort owned by Holiday Inn. We have a great condo, my daughter and 2 grandsons flew down to be with us.
Went to Legoland Theme Park which just opened on Oct 15th. It was alot of fun and I even went on one of the roller coasters with my younger grandson. We also went to Sea World (my favorite) and were there from open to close. The boys had a great time and my older grandson went on a coaster twice. Something that never happened before.

Needless to say I took tons of photos to scrapbook (someday...lol). Im really surprised Legoland did'nt have scrapbooking stuff. I have gotten it at my local scrapbook store so it's no big deal. Just sayin'.

We leave here tomorrow to visit my Dad and my BFF Ginny, who live about 2 hours from Orlando on the West Coast. I will get to see more cool things my BFF has learned since we got together last. She has a cool blog at ginnyselegantcards@blogspot.com

Have a crafty day to all. "Don't just leave it, leave it better!"

Got a Gypsy

Hi Everyone
I'm so excited, I bought a Gypsy. I for the longest time said I didn't need one but I will admit I was wrong. I did not realize how much you can achive with it. I have watched some videos on Youtube on how to use it. It did not come with very good instuctions and many craft friend have posted their videos of how to are a tremendous help.

I have purchased a few more Cricut carts on Ebay over the last few weeks so I have been having fun playing with them on my Gypsy. I also get updates on Facebook from Cricut Cards page as well as on tons of blog sites. There are so many good blogs out there, I'm just amazed at what there is.

I've added some photos of a few small things I have made while learning to use my Gypsy. I hope you like them.

Happy crafting!

Busy as a bee.

Hi Everyone,
It's been a busy summer so far. The time just flies by. I have been tring to set aside time for crafting. I made a birthday card for my BFF. I hope I get her package out tomorrow so she gets it ontime.

I posted photos of her card. I made a starfold card I saw on another website. There is a video on Youtube on how to make a starfold card. My friend is very creative, so I tried to make something special. She makes cards and sells them, so it's pretty hard (for me) to come up with something different.

Im so excited, I got a Gypsy! Yeah me. I have been watching how to videos every chance I get. They really don't offer very much info with it. I wonder why? Thank goodness for the wonderful crafters who share with others. If it wasn't for them I would'nt know how to use my Cricut.

Is it the middle of April already?

I can't believe how fast time flies these days. We just got back 2 weeks ago from 2 1/2 weeks in Florida. The weather was fabulous, 80's everyday. Went on a scrapbooking treasure hunt with my BFF. We went to 9 scrapbook stores in 3 days. I was in heaven. So many cool ideas and products out there.

My Dad is doing great at 81 years old. He keeps very busy with projects around his house and the goes out dancing a few nights a week. He is amazing.

I got to take a class on flowers while down there (my BFF teaches). I also helped with a card class with her.

Now we are getting ready for Easter. I'm making candy bouquets to sell and cards to sell. I will be having Easter at my home and my family is coming over. Easter egg hunt for the boys and watch The Easter Beagle Charlie Brown.

I hope everyone has a blessed Easter.

Happy New Year

Hi Everyone,
Can you believe how fast the Holidays came and went? I want to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

We had a very nice Christmas with family, we had 14 for dinner. Went to my daughters for our annual Christmas breakfast. It's such a good time seeing Christmas through the eyes of my grandsons. We had alot of fun.

We had an open house for family on New Years day. Lots of food and chit chat. My brother and his family came up from North Carolina as well as my nephew from Ft Bragg and my niece and her family came down from Ft Drum NY.

I have to get down to my craft space and clean up my Christmas mess, so that I can start making Valentine cards. I will try to post them as I go.

Thanks for stopping by.
