Catching up

Hi everyone,
Its been a busy few weeks. This Saturday, I along with my family will be participating in the Walk for Autism. It is being held at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. It is such a great event. There are so many families and supporters of Autism Speaks. I'm the captain of Drews Crew, named for my 10 year old Grandson Andrew. The weather is supposed to be cooler, the rain is due to start here tonight and continue through part of Friday.

I posted some new and old cards I have made. I hope you like them.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Friday

Hi Everyone,
What a beautiful day in NJ, it's perfect weather today.

Today I posted a few new cards. I have to give a shoutout to my BFF Ginny, since I scraplifted her design for the golf card, but it was just too cute not to.

The next card is for MDB for his forty-something birthday. I got a little inspiration from watching Tim Holtz from Ranger on HSN the other day. He really simplifies everything.

I also enjoyed watching the info on the Cricut "Imagine". What a piece of machinery! Although I won't be getting one for a while, I think its really awesome. I love how on HSN you feel like you just can't pass up anything (even though I did).

Have a great weekend!
Happy Crafting!

I love watchng tutorials!!

Hi everyone,
I just finished watching a good video on Stamp TV. I have never worked with copic markers so I found it interesting to see how they work. Gina (of Gina K Designs) did a great job explaining how to shade with them. Although I don't have the markers yet, I may think about it. I usually use watercolor pencils or regular colored pencils.

Yesterday I watched the Pink Stamper video of her new Cricut Imagine..it's very cool! I won't be getting one anytime soon, mostly due to the cost factor. I also got an invite to join the Cricut Circle, that isn't happening either. It's just too expensive. I'm sure it will be informative and really cool to get special carts, I just can't justify it (yet).

Well had a busy day today and I start back with my bowling league tomorrow morning.

Thanks for visiting!

Good Bye Earl

Hi everyone!
I'm happy to report hurricane Earl passed the Jersey shore earlier without much damage to anything.

As you can see I uploaded a few more cards I made, I hope you like them. I often just sit and stare at the paper not having a clue what to do. I think I'm going to just jump in and create, well not so much.

I have a family reunion of sorts tomorrow in Easton, Pa. I made a new Pampered Chef recipe, with Nilla Wafers, raspberries, raspberry jam, vanilla pudding, cool whip and chocolate morsels. It is really delish!

I hope to get some more crafting done on Sunday, but we'll see how it goes.

Have a great weekend.
Karen
